I once read somewhere that these are the top three ancient sites in South East Asia :

Borobudur, Indonesia

Bagan, Myanmar

Angkor Wat, Cambodia
I have made plans to travel to two of the above in the coming months, and would love to plan for the third sometime next year.
Why?
Because I like old stones :)
When you visit places like Borobudur, Bagan and Angkor Wat, very soon all the stones will look like ... stones :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Julie
ReplyDeleteHopefully I won't lose my interest :)
I agree with Julie Lim as I did Siem Reap and Borobudur on 2 successive weekend (feel free to visit my blog if you want some ideas)...
ReplyDeleteHowever both are nice places in their own respective rights...
I would love to go to Bagan though, it seems like sunrise is very beautiful there...
